Torah Council, or the council devoted to study and prayer, has been established to determine, plan and implement activities related to the religious and spiritual needs of the community. The scope of this council includes ritual and ceremonial practices, educational programming, and music. The Torah Council chairs are accountable for ensuring the successful execution of Torah Council programs / activities.
Avodah Council, or the council devoted to serving the community, has been established, in the short term, to determine priorities, plan and implement the start-up activities related to running the business of the Mitziut community. It covers establishing organizational and financial practices, public relations, community communications, fund raising strategy, submission of legal documentation, and overall defining of Mitziut community policies. The Avodah Council chairs are accountable for ensuring the successful execution of Avodah Council activities.
Gimilut Hasadim Council, or the council devoted to our consciences in providing acts of loving kindness, has been established to determine and implement our social action efforts, community care–such as visiting the sick and noting special events in members’ lives– and community social events. The Gimilut Hasadim Council chairs are accountable for ensuring the successful execution of Gimilut Hasadim Council programs / activities.
